The Councilor for Festivities of the City of Torrevieja, Rosario Martínez, has informed us that the pyro-musical show for San Juan, scheduled tomorrow, Friday, June 23, at 11:00 p.m., in the natural pools of the Paseo Marítimo Juan Aparicio, has been suspended due to an appeal registered in the Central Administrative Court of Contractual Appeals (TACRC) by a company that had submitted to the tender for contracting the pyrotechnics service, against the award of LOT 1 of the file “Fireworks on the occasion of the celebration of various festivities”.
For this reason, says Rosario Martínez, it has not been possible to sign the contract, as had been planned, and there isn´t enough time to make a new contract for this fireworks show.
Finally, the mayor of Fiestas has indicated that, at the moment in which the appeal of the TACRC is resolved, an alternative date will be sought so that citizens can enjoy this pyro-musical spectacular in the natural pools of the Paseo Marítimo Juan Aparicio.
The pyromusical show will last approximately 20 minutes.
The night of San Juan 2023, will be celebrated in Torrevieja with the traditional bonfires on the beach and a large fireworks display
On the night of Friday, June 23, at 11:30p.m., a fireworks display accompanied by music (pyromusical show) will take off from the natural pools of the Juan Aparicio promenade in Torrevieja (see map).
To enjoy this pyrotechnic show, we recommend you book a table on the terrace of PizzaN1 in front of Playa del Cura or on the terrace of Keeper on the Paseo Marítimo de Juan Aparicio, next to the Monument to the Man of the Sea.
