We won a meal for two at La Bodeguilla on Torrevieja.com and went for the meal last
night.We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.The waiter was
pleasant,the service great and the food delicious we will have no hesitation about
returning to this restaurant

LE BODEGUILLA DEL MULLINS (restaurant)
So how did I find this gem of a restaurant, well I won a meal for two in a Torrevieja tourist site raffle.
I was told it was an Irish pub, now don’t get me wrong, to me Irish pubs are like casinos to compulsive gamblers I can’t resist checking out the decor, but this is Spain and although I’ve eaten many a hearty meal in
Irish pubs I was hoping for something a bit ole! ole! and that is exactly what we got, a real tapas degustation
menu superbly prepared by a lovely Spanish lady. The meal was a total surprise and totally delicious. The menu is fixed but I believe this can change. Dishes are brought out one at a time consisting of starter tapas, fish tapas, a palate cleansing unusual salad tapas, before serving the main pork tapas, followed by a mixture of desserts that are presented on one plate to be shared with who you are with, be prepared for a fight.
The meal is not served in the pub but out the back in a room away from the bars. Modern Spanish. Designed to be very tete a tete. Price around 25 euros for two, yes two. Wine is your choice, but very moderately priced. This is tapas served up market. If you are adventurous you’ll love it.

Many thanks for selecting me to go to La Bodeguilla as the prize winner for May. We went today and the food was absolutely fabulous -I will certainly go back with friends and family in the future.
