On Friday, June 16, at 20h, a very special event for lovers of military history will be held at the “Sociedad Cultural Casino de Torrevieja” .
The foundation “Tercio Extranjeros” and the “Antiguos Caballeros Legionarios de la Vega Baja” have organised a presentation of a book entitled “The Legion in the Sahara between Wars. 1968 to 1975”, written by the author Carlos Blond Álvarez del Manzano, Brigadier General Infantry (RVA).
This presentation is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the experiences of the Spanish Legion during a crucial period in recent history.
The author, with his vast knowledge and experience, will transport us to a time marked by the courage and determination of those men who served in the Spanish Sahara.
Once the presentation of the book is over, attendees can enjoy a concert of habaneras by La Masa Coral “José Hódar”.
