Francisco Pizana, president of the Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association, has told us about the design of the poster announcing the Torrevieja Carnival 2024.
This year the poster is the work of the local artist, José María Andreu Pámies, son of “Cano” and “Finuca“, a family with deep carnival roots, according to the artistInspired by Greek culture. Greek elements that appear in the costumes of the kings have been used, such as the columns, which are also used to give depth to the design. Extremely colourful and very vivid, representing the spirit of carnival. Colour is the most prominent element, as an essential element of our carnivals.“
