Francisco Pizana, president of the Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association, has told us about the design of the poster announcing the Torrevieja Carnival 2024.

This year the poster is the work of the local artist, José María Andreu Pámies, son of “Cano” and “Finuca“, a family with deep carnival roots, according to the artistInspired by Greek culture. Greek elements that appear in the costumes of the kings have been used, such as the columns, which are also used to give depth to the design. Extremely colourful and very vivid, representing the spirit of carnival. Colour is the most prominent element, as an essential element of our carnivals.

Hello could you tell me where can I get the tickets for seating on the chairs for the carnaval on the Saturday the 10 February please thank you very much

Tickets to sit in the chairs on the day of the carnival parade are paid for on the same day when you sit down.

How much do they cost? Do you just take a seat and someone collects the money?

You can sit in any chair that is free.

Throughout the entire parade, there are several well-identified people who charge a price of €3 to occupy a chair and provide you with a sticker confirming that you have paid.

NOTE: Last year, it had a price of €3

We do not know this year’s price, but we hope it will be the same.
