The reopening of the Sports Palace was scheduled for January 2022
The total amount of these maintenance works has exceeded 5.5 million euros
The work has consisted mainly of repairing the thermal insulation and the upper roof of the Palacio de los Deportes, as well as cleaning up structural damage caused by the passage of time.
The dismantling of the pergola of the main entrance has required the installation of bulky scaffolding.
Also included in this work has been the painting of the interior and exterior of the sports pavilion, as well as the replacement of the interior lighting.
