All activities, events and meetings are prohibited on the beaches of Orihuela Costa

The Orihuela City Council has published a statement with this new measure due to the health restrictions of COVID19

It is forbidden to carry out activities, meetings or events that involve a group of people on all the beaches of Orihuela Costa.

This security measure is being applied specifically during the Christmas, New Year and Three Kings holiday period, and then until sanitary conditions allow a change.

Orihuela City Council considers that the current situation “makes it advisable and necessary to prevent the holding of meetings that have been held other years on the beaches, due to the risk of catching and transmission of the disease.”

The Council is also contemplating the possible closure of the accesses to the beaches if necessary.
