The Torrevieja Civil Guard has arrested a 45-year-old man of Spanish nationality accused of trying to rob a business in the town.
The arrested man took advantage of a moment when the store was empty to go in to buy a soft drink.
Whilst in the shop he took out a kitchen knife and threatened the shop assistant, demanding money from the till.
The owner of the Chinese business confronted the robber, putting his life in danger and pushed him out of the store.
Thanks to the recording of the security cameras, the Civil Guard was able to arrest the robber.
One of the Civil Guard agents immediately identified him since he had recently arrested him for a similar crime.
